Our Story.
“Can you come pick me up early?”
This unexpected phone call from our daughter, Marin, during her confirmation retreat marked the beginning of a new chapter in our family’s faith journey.
As Jim waded through the crowd to meet her, he overheard the Life Teen Leader’s resonant advice to the group: “Never let a struggle go to waste.”
This message prompted a deeper and heartfelt conversation between Jim and Marin on the way home, inspiring Jim to take a more active role in youth ministry and reigniting Marin’s connection to her faith.
This journey led us to a realization:
As parents, we are not alone.
Many Catholic families share our struggles, navigating the modern challenges of raising children in our faith today. We saw a need for a deeper community connection. A platform where families could gather, share their trials and triumphs, and grow stronger together in faith.
And so, Modern Catholic Family was born.
